A big step forward, 37714

A dry day and with good numbers meant a big day was ahead of us!

The water pump was put on, the coolant topped up and some good old oil put in to test the system and flush various pipes.

The oil system was primed, air removed after pipes had been taken off, oil pressure was good.

The water level was holding so we pressed start!

All was good she started, a few niggles after 4 damp months so we shut down, cleaned up a few contractors and tried again.

This time the aux system kicked in, batteries charging, power taken!

So as long as the water level stays where it is, next Saturday will see an oil and filter change whilst our team of electricians clean up some more contactors and check systems post the extremely wet weather, then we will run her up again.

Once we are happy, everything underneath will be disconnected ready for the traction motor change in 2 weeks!!

A selection of photos from John Johnson and a video from Kian Hughes of the first start since November!

That's all for this week, we thank you all for your support!
