This weekend (Friday 24th - Sunday 26th April) 2026 is the great central railway spring diesel gala. Both locos, 37714 and D6700 will be in operation the whole weekend with a mix of passenger and freight trains. Some services are even double headed / top n tailed by 37714 and D6700 together! So after yesterday’s degreasing 714 was given a wash this morning Bogies and fuel tanks cleaned. She will return on the 2nd April ready for service over the Easter weekend!
