Maintenance Day Update!
37714 was the focus this weekend for some TLC.
We have been carrying an intermittent field divert problem for a while, and now she is back on 6 traction motors the time had come to investigate and rectify it!
A new revtel was fitted as this had been identified as having a fault, this partially cured the problem and a new speed switching module was swapped in and after a test run to Rothley brook and back, the faults were gone! So she now diverts as she should do!
A snag with the speedos was also traced to a loose connection, this was tightened and they now work as advertised.
D6700 had some unsightly corrosion dealt with as well as a wash.
37714 is on DATEX duties this week and then the autumn diesel gala along with D6700!
We hope to see as many of you as possible there, these galas really are what make all the hard work worth it!

Once again, the HTG thanks you for your ongoing support to both locos.
