6700 Maintenance Day

This Saturday 11th saw some well deserved TLC for 6700

A new set of batteries was fitted , a leaky air pipe repaired and some engine work

The loco was successfully started, and run up all systems performed well

There are a few outstanding items from the B exam to complete , and a brake test to do next week , then she can join 37714 on the roster.

Had a day in support of the Ops Dept yesterday Shunting the yards at Quorn and Swithland, in preparation for the bridge work.
