Winter Maintenance

37714 will be stopped after the running day on the 30th December for it's winter maintenance. This will see the compressors lifted out for servicing and the nose bay cleaned and painted, one of the exhausters serviced and we will complete the B exam.

The pre-heater will also be fitted

The loco remains in excellent mechanical condition and the work is scheduled to ensure we maintain this.

Early weekend update

This week, 37714 had the traction motors disconnected, the brake pipes and AWS disconnected and the sanders removed, in preparation for the trip on Thursday to Loram to replace No. 2 traction motor. S

 
 
 
Saturday Update!
